Clean Eating Sloppy Joes

  • 1 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, diced finely
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, diced finely
  • 1/2 medium onion, diced finely
  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground turkey
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce (no sugar added)
  • 1/2 C. ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder

In a skillet over medium-high heat, sauce the peppers and onion in the olive oil.  Next, add ground turkey and brown.  Add tomato sauce, ketchup, and garlic powder.  Heat through.  Serve on whole-grain buns.
