1. IMPROVE YOUR MINDSET
What we constantly tell ourselves ends up manifesting in real life. If you’re betating yourself up mentally, telling yourself you can’t do this, you’ll always be fat, or worse yet – that it’s not worth it — that YOU aren’t worth it, you’ll never succeed. Even if you lose weight through diet and exercise, keeping it off will be a constant battle if you don’t change the way you think.
2. BUILD DAILY HABITS
It’s been said that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. This is ever-so-true when it comes to health and fitness. In my experience, those that take steps and reinforce them end up having long-term, lasting success with health and weight loss. Don’t try to add a habit if it’s not something you can sustain long-term. Each and every step builds momentum to make you want to do MORE.
3. CELEBRATE THE POSITIVE
Celebrate little victories along the way. What we focus on expands, so if you feel healthy, energetic, and take time to recognize how FORTUNATE you are to have your health, the universe will bring you MORE of that. That includes celebrating every little NSV (non-scale victory) along your journey. Give yourself a pat on the back for the hard work you’re putting in!
